We know a lot of you are travelling to Auto Assembly 2014 from outside of the local area and even from outside of the UK. While many of you are only joining us for the convention itself, there are some of you who will be staying in the area for a few days before and/or after the convention and may be looking for something to do before heading back home so Auto Assembly committee member Tori O’Regan has come to the rescue…

Tori has compiled a guide to some of the local attractions in and around the Birmingham area that you might be interested in and you’ll find that – as with the Transformers themselves – when it comes to England’s second city, there’s certainly more than meets the eye! So if you’re looking for something to do that doesn’t involve giant transforming robots, take a look at the Auto Assembly 2014 Tourist Guide.

While on the subject of information, we want to remind all of you attending the convention about our Attendee Information Pack. This essential guide is full of hints and tips for all of you to get the most out of the convention weekend and also contains all of the convention rules so please spare a few minutes to read this.

If you haven’t booked for the convention, which is taking place over hte weekend of 8th – 10th August 2014 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in Birmingham, there’s still time so pop over to our bookings page and come and join us as we celebrate 30 years of Transformers!
