Types of information that may be collected

The personal information we collect is used to facilitate the delivery of information regarding convention registration, important updates (including but not limited to guest updates, travel updates and venue updates), and/or Auto Assembly newsletters/magazines/fanzines.

Save for very rare exceptions, such deliveries will take place via electronic mail (e-mail) only.

To provide these services, Auto Assembly requires its customers to provide certain personal information from which the customer can be specifically identified as an individual.

Said personal information (which is subject to change at any time and without prior notice) may include, though is not limited to, the following items;

The personally identifiable information which is collected from Auto Assembly customers on completion of a convention ticket booking form, purchase of a convention ticket, email addresses and correspondence, posting a review or comment on our Site or the entry of a contest or competition includes customer’s first name, last name, age, gender, home city and post code, phone number, member type, email address.

Please note, Auto Assembly does not request your credit or debit card numbers / details, nor does it store them online. In the interests of protecting your privacy, we encourage customers to provide payment for services via secure online paypal payment. This being the case, Auto Assembly will never receive your debit / credit card / bank details.

We may also automatically collect your internet protocol and referring website addresses, browser type, and domain name. This information helps facilitate your online experience on our Site.
