Auto Assembly Website – Back From Our Hiatus

Regular site visitors will have noticed that things have been fairly quiet here the last couple of weeks. Not only for this website but aross all our projects here at Infinite Frontiers, covering al four of our websites and our YouTube channel. I take a great deal of pride in our output and the fantastic work of all of our hardworking team members, and I try to dedicate as much of my spare time as I can alongside my daily role as a full time carer. However, the last few weeks have been particularly diffiicult for us resulting in no content being published at all…

Feeling Pawly

Two weeks ago I had a minor accident at home. One of our dogs decided it would be fun to paw at me as she usually does. This time, however, she decided to paw at my face. That wouldn’t have been too bad if I had been wearing my glasses at the time! So one scratched cornea later, and I’ve been sitting in darkened rooms for the last couple of weeks resting my eyes letting it heal up.

PC or not PC, that is the question…

Today is the first time in two weeks that I’ve switched my PC on and obviously I’m playing catch-up. We’ve got a lot of reviews waiting to be edited and published for the Mastertronic Collectors Archive, but I haven’t been able to do updated for any of our regular features, source news articles, or write any new reviews of my own.

In fact, I’ve only been comfortable watching TV for the last couple of days in short bursts, so sitting down to write episode reviews for Auto Assembly game reviews for Infinite Frontiers or Vita Player has been out of the question. As for our YouTube Channel… we’re in the middle of a number of projects but I’m hoping to have recovered enough by the end of the month so I can get back in front of the camera for our regular unboxing videos!

Emails and Social Media

One thing I will stress is that emails will take longer for us to respond than normal so please bear with us and we’ll reply and action any emails/messages as quickly as we can. That’s also the same with all our social media accounts but don’t worry, we haven’t gone anywhere!

Normal service resuming shortly…

We are hoping that everything will be back to normal in the next couple of weeks and behind the scenes we’re making as many contingency plans as we can when it comes to our content. I’ll be taking more of an editorial role with some of the content and focusing on producing smaller pieces or updates to some of our regular features and guides. For the short term at least my PC time is still going to be limited so I want to maximise the time I have at the PC.

Thanks for your understanding.
