Auto Assembly 2014 Hilton Room Booking Update – 20th January 2014

We know that all of you have been waiting patiently for details of booking accommodation at the Hilton for this year’s convention. Well, we are now in a position to bring you another update on all of this… We’ve heard from the Hilton this morning and they are now working on getting our dedicated mini website up and running for all of you to be able to book your rooms online for the convention so we now expect it to only be a matter of days before you’ll be able to book your hotel rooms for the convention.

We know many of you are concerned that you won’t be able to get rooms in the hotel, but we do want to assure you that the Hilton has reserved more rooms than ever for us in the hotel and should we need them, more can be put aside for us as long as they have them! Obviously we do still advise you all to book your rooms sooner rather than later once room bookings are open because – as with 2013 – the annual Festival Of Quilts is taking place the same weekend at the National Exhibition Centre and those attending it are likely to want hotel accommodation in and around the NEC complex!

If you have booked, don’t worry about missing out on getting the room booking details as these will be emailed to you automatically as soon as we get them. If you haven’t had your confirmation email for the convention yet, please do not worry as we’re in the process of sending out the final batch of these following a final end of year rush that we’re going through but everyone who has booked will get the Hilton booking details on the same day to ensure that none of our attendees get preferential treatment!

Finally, because of the delays we have encountered with the Hilton’s room bookings you will have noticed that our special discount rate on tickets for Auto Assembly 2014 is still running! Yes, you can still book a full adult weekend ticket for Auto Assembly 2014 for just £50. However, we can’t keep these prices going for ever and as soon as room bookings are opened, these ticket prices will rise so if you haven’t already booked for the convention we’d recommend that you book sooner rather than later!
