Old Auto Assembly And Other Website To Close Down

As you know, we relaunched the Auto Assembly website back in September 2011, but the old website has still been online on our old server which we have been sharing with our parent site operated by the sci-fi fan organisation Infinite Frontiers that was started by Auto Assembly committee head, Simon Plumbe, back in 1989. However, Simon has not been able to spend time working on this sci-fi / computing site for the last couple of years so we are now in the process of closing this down. Some of the Auto Assembly downloadable content will be transferred over to this site in the coming months as we start to expand the non-convention content here but as we are now focusing our efforts 100% on Auto Assembly we felt that – for the time being at least – that the Infinite Frontiers site was redundant and it was far better to remove the site than have a four year old website online.

If there is any interest in the future, we may revive part of the website (which included an archive of legally downloadable retro games) but for now this, Auto Assembly Europe, CT Alpha and our forums will be our main focus.
