We’ve been working with our new venue for Auto Assembly 2012, the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, to ensure that everyone will have the best possible convention next year. As part of that we are going to be able to offer all of our attendees the opportunity to book their hotel rooms online using a dedicated micro-site that the Hilton is setting up for us. This is now in the final stages of being set up, with just some final tweaks to the content to ensure that we get all of the information we need this end so all being well, room bookings will be up by 28th September 2011.
Please do not book your hotel room before booking your tickets for the convention and to qualify for the heavily-reduced convention rate of £50 for a single and £60 for a twin/double per night (which is inclusive of breakfast) you will need to book online. The hotel is able to accept telephone bookings but online bookings for the discount rate are preferred. For those of you eager to book your hotel rooms, you may ask why you should wait before booking your rooms…
As well as the expanded Goodie Bag for Auto Assembly 2012, we are producing an exclusive Litho Print for our attendees, but the only way you can get one of these is to book a room in the Hilton at the reduced convention rate. What you will need to do is register for the convention, then using the link we will give you in the booking confirmation email book your room online. As part of the micro-site’s booking system, there will be the opportunity for you to give the name and ticket numbers for everyone staying in your hotel room. Do this and everyone in your room who is attending the convention will get the Litho!
If you book by phone or have already booked your room before booking for the convention, we can not guarantee to trace your details with the hotel for your Litho Prints.
Finally, if you have already registered for the convention, booking confirmation emails will be going out as soon as we get the hotel booking micro-site online so expect these next week!
