The Auto Assembly 2015 Free Gifts!

AA2015 New Logo

Right since the first Auto Assembly convention in 2000, we’ve given gifts away to everyone who has come along to the convention. Whether it’s been a case of hurling bags of crisps into the crowd of attendees back at our first venue, the Ibis, at the original Auto Assembly event to some of our more elaborate bundles including the Atari sponsored package where we gave away PlayStation 2 discs to everyone, we’ve always wanted to make sure that no-one goes home from Auto Assembly empty-handed.

Auto Assembly 2015 is no exception and we wanted to let you all know what’s in store for all of you this year when you arrive at the convention and more importantly how you get your hands on everything! First, when you arrive at the Hilton this year, make your way to our Registration Desk which is just outside the entrance to our Main Hall in the Monarch Suite of the hotel. Make sure that you have brought along a print-out of your ticket confirmation email with you and hand it to one of our team. You’ll be checked off on our list and then handed your personalised pass for the convention. At this stage it’s important to note that passes must be worn at all times around the convention and all of the function rooms that we are using. If you don’t wear your pass, you won’t be admitted into any part of Auto Assembly 2015!

In addition to your pass you’ll be handed a full set of the Auto Assembly 2015 postcards (pictured below) featuring artwork from Ed Pirrie, Alies Meerman and Kris Carter. As well as that, the first 1,000 people to have registered for the convention will also receive a copy of our 32-page convention comic Fire and Iron along with the 28 page convention magazine The Cybertronian Times. This year, in Issue 16 of The Cybertronian Times, you’ll find a full programme for the weekend inside so you’ll always know what is happening at the convention at a glance!

AA2015 Postcard Set

The Registration Desk will be open on Friday from 10:00 am for weekend attendees and 8:30 am each day on Saturday and Sunday for those of you who have pre-booked your tickets. On the door ticket sales will be available when the convention starts (18:00 on Friday, 9:30 on Saturday and Sunday). Please don’t worry if you can’t pick up your passes at those times as the Registration Desk will be open for most of the day and when it’s closed registrations will move to the desk inside our main hall.

See you all next week!
