Important Update – Disruptions To London Train Services Over Auto Assembly Weekend

AA2014 Logo

For those of you traveling to and from London to attend Auto Assembly 2014 we want to bring you all an important travel update that has come to light over the last couple of days. As many of you in the UK will know, the Summer months often see engineering works take place across the rail network and it seems that this year is no exception and one of the busiest junctions in the London area – Watford – is undergoing crucial upgrade works this August and in April 2015.

What this means for Auto Assembly attendees is that there is going to be a restricted / altered service on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th August while these works are carried out with many journeys being diverted through other stations or being replaced by bus services. More information has been made available about the changes and alternative arrangements on the National Rail website and what alternative options are available here.

Please rest assured that this does not mean that there is no way of leaving London by train and certainly that your current plans will need to be cancelled should you have already purchased travel tickets but please allow additional time for your journey each way.
