Okay, a controversial one or what could be... what's your favourite Transformers series and why?

Got to be Beast Wars for me... it's the series that got me into Transformers and it's just got the most mature storylines of all the show, the strongest characters and the relationships between all of them seem more "natural".

Plus it's got Rubber Ducky!

Definitely Beast Wars - while G1 is my preferred continuity, Beast Wars had humour, good characters and great writing - the level of which still has to be attained by any other Transformers cartoon (although Animated came close).

Can't actually vote per the poll options unfortunately, unless I voted for my second favourite series - Beast Machines, as my favourite series has been lumped in with other shows that are not to my taste.

My favourite Transformers animated show you see is Chojin Masterforce - a good strong central plot, interesting characters on both sides - Cancer may be on the side of evil at the start of the series but he is still at heart terribly likeable whilst the Darkwings brothers are such easy villians to hate, some really good character development and it is a visually quite stylish series. Really all the same reasons that draw me to Beast Machines draw me to Masterforce and vice versa.

for me it as to be Armada, the story was good and i definately loved the the relationship story of Starscream and the kids,especially Alexis.

Armada for me its just so hammy and there are quite a few good one liners.

Beast wars because it did for the cartoon what G2 [ball joints then use din Beast wars] did for the toys. If you forget Armada series one, then can come close. Animated would be first if it came out pre BW.
