 Website New Look
It's been about a week now since we relaunched the website and moved it to a new server. While I'm still tweaking it and adding new content / revising the layout and moving content over from the old site, I'd love to know what you all think so far.

 Re: Website New Look
I'm still adding new features and ideas to it, and I'll be adding more fun polls over time. One thing I am thinking about is changing the Optimus Primal and Grimlock images at the top, but rotating them every so often, using random artwork from our postcards over the years, and once we get the first few pieces in, using some of the art from the 2012 cards...
I've also got seven back issues of The Cybertronian Times ready to be made available for free downloading so I'll start to release more of these shortly! Basically, I've got every issue ready apart from 1-4 and 12!

 Re: Website New Look
I'm biased but i think it looks much more "tidier", seem easy to navigate around too

 Re: Website New Look
Still got loads more ideas for it, and I'm tempted to change the menus at the top. At the moment they're linked to all of the news posts as they go online, but I am tempted to move that to the side in a pull-down menu and have a different menu at the top with sections for articles, features, galleries and similar content to the posts but have main stories easier to find.
I'm thinking about this as some stories could get lost in the long term, especially photo galleries and fanzine downloads without dedicated sections as the curernt structure lists posts in date order when you click on the category menus but sub-pages for each would have all of these easily accessible while still having posts searchable along with the whole site.
Won't take long to do a trial run and see how it works and it's easy enough to revert back to the current format if it doesn't work though! lol
