 Hotel booking problem
Just thought I would let you guys know I have encountered a problem with booking my room at the Hilton for AA2012 I booked it tonight, selecting 4 nights over the weekend, which I checked a number of times before submitting my reservation. Despite the date being correct and the final amount being correct on the confirmation page it has still somehow managed to book me for the entire 12 night block instead of the 4 I selected, charging me 3x what it shouldve (I am the kind of person who will check things 20 times to make sure they are right so I know 100% that I had the right things selected!) I dont know if this is a problem anyone else has had, but I have emailed them to get it sorted and now wait for a response and it will hopefully be sorted!

 Re: Hotel booking problem
I'll contact the hotel as well so they'll know that we are aware of the problem. If you can drop me an email to the normal Auto Assembly email address with your details and a brief recap of what's happened and I can remind them from our end "officially".

 Re: Hotel booking problem
I hope everything worked out in the end. i hate it when this kind of errors occur /: Last year when i planned a vacation abroad, i booked an hotel for only 6 nights, but the it somehow managed to book me for 20 nights (!!) i only found out about the mistake when i arrived at the hotel..

 Re: Hotel booking problem
Its been sorted now with the right dates and my confidence in the hotel is more than restored Always worry something will go wrong when going somewhere new but they seem to have dealt with it quickly without any hassle which is good I'll send an email anyway so you know what happened in case any similar problems occur in the future

 Re: Hotel booking problem
Cheers. To be honest, the Hilton have been incredible so far. We had a site visit a few weeks ago and they couldn't have been better - we had a wonderful tour around the hotel and they answered all of our questions and went above and beyond our expectations as a venue for next year.
All being well, I can see the Hilton being our permanent home from now on.

 Re: Hotel booking problem
I've booked my hotel room & got confirm e-mail.
i added my ticket numbers in the comments. so is it poster for each person or one per room. If the comments is the right section to place the details - only part where youenter anything extra.

 Re: Hotel booking problem
Yeah, that's the place to put the ticket details and we can get that from the hotel. It's going to be one litho per registered attendee per room booked.

I often get problems booking for hotel too and sometimes I just call them repeatedly to make them aware of it. ____________________________ luxury hotels uk

 Re: Hotel booking problem
My hotel bookings seems to be going ok - just delay in payment being processed, they must do it once a week. Might book another room & also get another weekend ticket on the friday.

 Re: Hotel booking problem
So are we able to pay before hand though? Or does it have to be on the desk?

 Re: Hotel booking problem
I can't see the Hilton objecting too much if you want to pay for your room in advance...!

 Re: Hotel booking problem
I'd expect they would - but you'd just need confirmation of payment.
