 Christmas Shopping...
Went shopping to Tesco last night to pick up some essentials and walked past the Christmas section (yeah, they've got one already!) which has been there for a couple of weeks already. Don't know why, but we had a look at some of the Christmas cakes there, and there was a chocolate log on the shelf... with a "best before" date of October 2011!
WTF?! Isn't everything on that shelf supposed to be for Christmas?! Almost as bad as one of the Easter Eggs that I had this year that was pretty much of of date by Easter!

 Re: Christmas Shopping...
Well, I can only speak for myself, but... If I buy a bag of Easter Eggs, they'll be lucky to make it to Easter!

 Re: Christmas Shopping...
ahhhh. Christmas shopping. I need to start (and finish) this soon. It's more a case of finding ideas for me.

 Re: Christmas Shopping...
Christmas shopping is one of my favorite part of the holiday season but I'm not one of those people who does a lot of last minute Christmas shopping though it seems to t it seems to happen anyway. I usually shop at slow times when I can forgo the crowds and long lines. Better yet, I find some stores that are open 24 hours. I also do list and look, great sales, set a budget and shop online. I really love giving gifts to my family and friends. After my shopping I reward myself a special meal or buy a small token for a job well-done. Christmas shopping isn't near so bad if you acknowledge your accomplishments and reward yourself with something inexpensive and fun. Happy holidays everyone have a wonderful celebration.
