 Star Wars on Blu Ray
So what do you think about George Lucas's latest alterations to the Star Wars movies for the blu ray release? Is he getting obsessed with constantly changing them, is he making necessary changes, is he perfectly entitled to do as he sees fit as they are his movies, or is everyone getting worked up for nothing as they are just movies and not important in the bigger picture - real life comes first!
Okay, apart from me needing to hide after the last bit, thoughts guys! I have got my own comments but I'll save them for now!

Re: Star Wars on Blu Ray
I've only actually heard about one new change. Can anyone be comprehensive for me?

Re: Star Wars on Blu Ray
I have the original films on DVD and that is enough for me. The ceaseless tinkering is getting tedious.

Re: Star Wars on Blu Ray
Lacking a Blu-ray player I don't really have any sense of a vested opinion. I have the unaltered original versions of the first three films on DVD and have never really had any urge to rewatch Menace, Clones or Sith so I don't really feel it affects me much one way or the other.
Lucas can keep amending the films forever, but he shouldn't expect that I have any reason to buy each new version.

Because it's Blu-ray, and shiny and... and new... and and .... NEW STUFF EVERYBODIES!
If I had a Blu Ray player, yes, I probably would buy these. As I will doubtless go and watch the new Cinema 3-D versions. Because I'm a sucker for the Star Wars.
