With Auto Assembly 2013 approaching, we wanted to bring all of you an update regarding the convention and accommodation at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel for this years event. We know that all of you are excited about attending the convention this year and that while many of you have already booked your hotel rooms, many of you are either leaving this until you have sorted out your travel arrangements or – as some of you have been in touch to let us know – have been experiencing some issues with the Hilton’s online booking system when attempting to get your rooms at the convention’s special rates.
At the moment we are aware of a few issues that are being experienced by attendees surrounding room bookings in terms of the availability of single and double rooms and accommodation prior to the Friday night at the Hilton but we are in constant communication with the Hilton to try to resolve this as quickly as possible. We will update the site as often as possible as we get more information from the Hilton regarding this but at the moment this is out of our control.
However, if you are experiencing difficulties, please let us know so we can inform the hotel of the number of attendees who are experiencing problems so we can attempt to rectify this as quickly as possible.
